  • I dont mean to sound rude, but this puzzle was poorly designed. there are so many possible answers.
For anyone who needs help completing it, the middle bit makes the PI maths symbol and the outside makes a plate-thing. for the plate just start off with the top row and put the 3 in the middle (the plate thing is symmetrical)

  • Cute picture, but I couldn't have done it without the hint. Thanks, Hjaw123.

  • I think we should be rude too people who post illogical puzzles and maybe someone will think twice before putting it online.

  • For goodness' sake! Why would any decent human being want to incite others to "be rude too people"?
Everyone who posts a puzzle on this FREE site is a VOLUNTEER! Nobody gets paid, they spend their own time trying to create something that others will enjoy. Sometimes authors don't test their Hanjies and they may be slightly illogical - is that a valid reason to try to intimidate them?
If people stop posting new Hanjies because of nasty or thoughtless comments, this brilliant site will cease to exist, which would devastate the 1000s of intelligent and appreciative players worldwide who value the effort that goes into every puzzle, good or not quite so good.
Rant over - sometimes I just get exasperated with unpleasant and inconsiderate comments!!

  • Absolutely spot on Sparrow. One can choose to attempt a Hanjie or not - I'm not that clever at solving them (or at creating them) but I enjoy doing both. For me this site is a good way to relax and have a bit of fun - sometimes I start a puzzle one day and eventually get back to it when it suits me - which means my resultant time for completion can be hundreds of hours - equally sometimes I give up on some Hanjies because I can't solve them (albeit many others have) - I still enjoy the attempt - certainly never a reason to be critical and I'm certainly not qualified to give constructive advice although I appreciate it when the experts give up their time to help me and others. Chill Alesko - there are far more important things in this world for which to get upset - Hanjies is not one of them. Still unable to return to work thanks to COVID19 - my thanks to Hanjie and other sites which have enabled me to retain my sanity.

  • Anaderol - You don't need to end up with times of loads of hours. If you need to take a break from a puzzle (I do as well sometimes!), then you can click on "Save your progress". It doesn't just save your progress, but your time as well. When you want to return, refresh the page. When you click "Start", it'll be just where you left off, time included!

As for inciting people to be rude, that's just idiotic!
My first puzzle was illogical. I had no idea you could test them, and I was just trying things out. I also read comments about the use of "temporaries" and had no idea what that was either. My skills at these puzzles, which includes solving, creating and just using this site, have come along hugely in the time I've been using the site.
Everyone has to start somewhere. If that can't be appreciated, then the 'progress' of humanity is going backwards.
