After completing the hanjie, set the zoom to 110% and sit staring at the middle of the pattern. (Ignore the dots in the corners, these are to keep the frame the size that it is.)
Relax your eyes and allow the image to de-focus. You should see two blurry images overlapping (one is what your left eye sees, the other is what your right eye sees).
Then slowly bring the new image into focus.
If you have done it correctly, you should see four squares in the middle with a dot in the middle of each one. There will also be squares on both the left and right which are empty. The 2D image appears a bit 3Dish.

    The zoom amount was worked out during creation. When published the required zoom to work is 200-250%.

    There are not 7 solutions. Once you have put in all of the crosses in boxes that are not shaded. The 1,1 on the top/bottom rows and left/right columns becomes obvious. Then place the 5s in the middle section leaving you with only one place for the remaining two 1s in the middle row.
