Multiple answers, had to guess. I imagine it would be easier if you play the game. I had to google it.

Too many possible solutions. Not a good puzzle.

Not a Picross at all, if you need an hint, google it and you'll have a good idea of the intent.

make a complete square with the 9s, place 9 dots in an even grid inside. all the 2s attach outward from the 9s. draw diagonals outward from the 2s to the edge of the puzzle, then use the remaining 1s to make perpendicular diagonals across each corner--they don't all connect to the prior diagonals.
