who discovered the dinosaurs?
Fossils have been discovered for a long time, but no one asked which animal they belonged to. The first person who is known to have found a dinosaur fossil is Robert Plot in 1677. But he did not understand that he discovered the remains of a prehistoric animal, he thought it was a human.
So only in 1819, there was someone who understood what it was about.
