The Passe-muraille

Since we are in Paris, let's stay there for a few drawings.
This statue is located in Montmartre.
Le passe-muraille is a character created by Marcel Aymé whose novel was published in 1943. His hero is called Dutilleul and leads a quiet life when he discovers by chance that he can pass through walls! He ends up losing his gift and remains forever frozen in the middle of a wall, exactly where the statue is located. It should be noted that Jean Marais created it and that the character was brilliantly played by Bourvil in the cinema.
