The Cité clock

It is the oldest public clock in Paris, dating from the 16th century, in its present appearance. In fact, an older clock, the very first one, has completely disappeared but was located in the same place. Still located here on the Ile de la Cité, it used to decorate the Palais de la Justice, its decorations being linked to this subject.
