Made famous by films such as La Dolce Vita and Roman Holiday, the Trevi Fountain is now a victim of its own success, so much so that access is managed from 9am to 9pm (400 people at a time). It's worth noting that Rome City Council donates the money collected from the fountain to charity: around a million euros a year!
