Rochefort-en-Terre, listed among the Small Towns of Character and Most Beautiful Villages of France, is one of the most picturesque towns in inland Brittany. Here, you feel as if you have travelled back four centuries in time!
Built on a schist spur overlooking the Gueuzon valley, Rochefort seems to rise up out of the greenery. Most of the houses date from the 17th century, while others are hidden beneath flowers or ivy.
