A small town of character, Locronan boasts a rare architectural unity: 17th- and 18th-century mansions and townhouses are harmoniously arranged around the main square and its old well. Locronan prospered thanks to the weaving of linen and hemp fabrics.
Its streets are a veritable film set, chosen for the shooting of Roman Polanski's Tess and Philippe de Broca's Les Chouans. A real time machine, at the gateway to the magnificent Crozon peninsula.
