A wonderful village in the ‘Green Provence’, in the Var hinterland, Cotignac nestles at the bottom of a valley dominated by a tuff cliff pierced by caves, from which a waterfall cascades.
It’s a lovely stroll through the narrow streets of the old quarter to admire the 16th- and 17th-century Provençal mansions, as well as some medieval houses. On the Town Hall square stands one of the finest bell towers in the Var (15th century).
