It is a 61.1 meter tower built in 1840 and located in Princes Street Gardens. It has been erected in memory of the eminent Scottish writer Sir Walter Scott. This monument can be visited and it is possible to reach the top with a narrow spiral staircase of 287 steps in order to admire a breathtaking view of the city.
