  • I realise now, even after testing, that this perhaps is based too much on temporaries and guesswork. I'll work on fixing it for a future puzzle, and I apologise for now if it frustrates you to the point of giving up.

  • Wow, this isn't even remotely solvable.

  • Can someone provide some hints for solving? I keep trying a 'somewhat symmetrical' approach, but not getting anywhere.

  • It is basically a symmetrical cloud with two eyes, a nose, a sad face, and one odd raindrop in the face

    best hint i can give without giving the solution is fill in r9c10, r10c10, r11c9, r11c11, r12c10

    i think this should account for the only unsymmetrical part of the solution.

    also another hint is that the rain drops follow the shape:

    oxo
    oxo
    xox
    oxo

    where the x's are the filled boxes.

  • And also another five raindrops underneath the cloud.

  • 7 rain drops sorry, probably should have thought this out more before i left the comments.

  • If anyone wants any more clues:
    r5c8, r6c6, r7c5, r9c4 and r10c5.

  • That was really hard.

  • That was very difficult.

    Rain drops under the cloud hints;

    2's that form top of raindrops are at :
    C2 R13-14
    C5 R16-17
    C13 R17-18
    C21 R16-17
    C24 R13-14
    (two more raindrops under clouds connected to 5's in R14)

    Other cloud face hints:

    Nose is a V shape made up of 3 squares, centre = C13 R10
    Mouth = R12 C12-14.
