There are many statues or monuments with snakes. This one is closer to my soul because it was discovered in the city where my daughter was born, the city of Constanța - today's city which was called Tomis in antiquity
It represents Glycon, a local god with the body of a snake, the head of a sheep, with human hair on his head and the tail of a lion.
