Misty is a Pokémon trainer from Cerulean City. Ash meet her in the first episode. He "borrow" her bicycle to drive Pikachu to the nearest Pokémon center, but the bike is wrecked in an attack. Misty decide to follow Ash until he can pay back the bike. In the course of the story, this reason is progressively forgotten as they become friends.
Misty dreams of becomming water Pokémon Master.
