Octavarium (Dream Theater Album)

The 8th album by the progressive metal band Dream Theater, released in 2005. Its concept is based on the octave; it features 8 tracks, each of which corresponds to a white key on the piano. Some tracks have transitions between them, corresponding to the black keys on the piano. Since there are 5 black keys and 8 white keys, not all tracks have transitions.
