Ring Man is a Robot Master that was created by Dr. Cossack specifically to kill Mega Man. Only him and Skull Man were created specifically for combat, unlike Dr. Cossack's other robots which were reprogrammed by Dr. Wily.
He appeared for the first time as a boss in Mega Man 4, on the NES.
