Challenging... My hint in case someone is looking for one... the snake has a nose and the year is in the lower left hand corner.

Oh boy that took a while! I thought I had no hope but I played around with where the 9 vertical went...and it worked out from there! :)

In addition to Lilningirl's hints, the 3 in row 1 starts in column 5. once these have been worked out the rest can be done with logic and a lot of patience.

100% guesswork, even using the hints!!!

This guy is a total moron. He actually says in the description he tested it and found it illogical since he had to use temps on hes own creation and still published it. All puzzles are theoretically solvable using temps. It's just trial and error. That doesn't make it logical. 5 in column 24 goes from row 16-20. Hope that helps some more. Thx for the above hints though.

No, you can't solve all puzzles using temps! Perfectly logical as far as I am concerned because it has a unique solution. Temporaries are a convenience to ease things that can be done mentally if you have the capacity.
